Become Unbeatable

The Focus Paradox nobody talks about...

You’re focusing on the wrong thing…

If you’re constantly distracted trying to stay on task, listen up!

and if you’re already thinking of clicking off, you especially need to hear this, if you want to succeed in life…

You could say focus is one of the most important Success Skills out there.

Let me explain…

Focus is like the wheels of a car.

You could have the coolest, most expensive, fastest car in the world, but it's useless if it doesn’t have wheels.

Your ability to focus is directly correlated to how fast you succeed…

It’s your driving force. pun intended

Because without it, you’ll be stuck knowing what to do, incapable of actually sitting down and doing it.

Focus is essential today because it’s never been easier to make a living from creativity.

However, if you’re constantly distracted, it’s never been easier to stay distracted…

Why?

Because of technology…

Everyone says they’re working on their focus, yet they’re on their phones.

But if you’re working on being “focused,” you’ve already got it wrong… and here’s why…

If you’re focusing on improving your focus, you’re distracting yourself.

I call it The Focus Paradox.

If you want to improve your focus, you have to do things that help you stay focused on an activity.

Not focusing on how focused you are (because that’s distracting).

For example, Charlie Morgan meditates to improve his focus.

He doesn’t meditate for all the other perceived benefits; he does it so that when his mind wanders, he can realize it and bring it back to focus.

That’s how the focus muscle is trained.

He improves by not focusing on how focused he is but by focusing on his breath.

You can do the same…

Set a timer for 10, 15, or 20 minutes, don’t look at it, don’t do anything, just focus on your breath.

This is why meditation is so beneficial.

Doing this before a big day will not only relax any anxiety or stress but prime you to be as focused as possible.

Start with just 5 minutes tomorrow, do it 15 minutes after you wake, and every day for the next week.

You’ll surprise yourself with how focused you can be…

It’s really useful for work…

Because if you don’t want to be replaced and be in a creative position.

You’ll need world-class focus.

You’ll need to be able to focus on the noise, come up with groundbreaking ideas in distracting times, and set yourself apart, with a focus better than any AI.

The longer you wait the easier it’ll be for you to be replaced by AI so don’t waste any time!

It seems simple yet counterintuitive because of The Focus Paradox: If you focus on your ability to focus, you distract yourself.

Focus on any simple, creative, easy task and that’s where the focus muscle is worked.

Keep going, keep improving, stay focused.

Until Next Time!
