Don’t be stuck in the New Year's trap...
Start respecting yourself.
The first week of 2025 is nearly over…
But the question is…
Have you got off to a good start?
Have you stuck to what you said you would, even just for this first week?
The truth is, most people don’t even make it out of January. Studies have shown that 88% of people fail within the first two weeks!
It’s crazy, I know.
But you can’t make it through the first month without making it through the first week.
And if you’ve already broken your promise, it’s not to be ashamed of, but what you should be ashamed of is if you don’t get straight back into right now.
Because everyone waits for the new year to start something different and change for the better.
Which is great!
Not knowing that change is challenging and requires you to be uncomfortable.
So once the new year rolls around, they all get excited for the first week but then fail.
Even before February, they’ve returned to the same behaviors they tried to change.
But wait it gets better…
Because they will simply do the exact same thing again in 12 months.
That is the vicious New Year cycle.
But even if you’ve broken your promise already, that's totally fine; just get back to it now and be comfortable with the uncomfortable.
That’s most people's problem,
They freak out when stuff gets hard and lose motivation because it takes too long.
Well, think of that promise as self-respect,
And if you break that promise, all you're doing is disrespecting yourself.
You hate being disrespected by others, so why do it to yourself…
Stay true to your promises just for one more day.
By the end of February, you will see it as part of your life.
That’s how to break out of the New Year's trap,
Start really respecting yourself
And improve year after year.
Keep crushing!
