- Give yourself some credit...
Give yourself some credit...
Realize the truth about your journey...
You don’t give yourself enough credit.
You’re always washed up exhausted after every day, wondering whether it’ll work out or not.
To make it worse, no one understands you because you’re different from the crowd and have been gifted with a massive vision for your life.
This can be a blessing or a curse because you know that not taking action will only make your life worse, as you will realize that you could’ve done more…
Because “Dreams without goals are just dreams, and they ultimately fuel disappointment” - Denzel Washington.
Getting there takes a lot of time,
energy,
hardship,
and sacrifice.
All with no guarantee that you’re actually going to make it or not.
That leaves you uncertain about all the actions you’re taking every day, wondering if what you’re doing is actually getting you closer to your goals.
That,
my friend,
is the exact feeling everyone else is feeling that is on the same development journey you are on,
you’re not alone.
And the worst part is it never goes away.
But here’s a way to ease that feeling.
Like Alex Horomzi said, “The fact that you don't know if it's gonna work - is exactly what makes it worth doing. It's why entrepreneurship isn't for the faint of heart. Embrace uncertainty.”
He recognises the uncertainty, but he doesn’t let it stop him.
That feeling is there for everyone all the time, which, in his eyes, makes it irrelevant.
If that mindset can get him to where he is, then it’ll definitely help you, too.
You’ll have days when you don't feel like it, want to quit, and even question why you are doing it in the first place.
The best way to ease those thoughts and feelings is to give yourself a little more credit and be grateful for what you’ve already accomplished.
I can almost guarantee that the things you’re trying to achieve have only been achieved by people you’ve seen on the Internet, not by people you personally know.
It doesn’t mean it's impossible; it just means it’s not a common thing that happens.
Because it is so uncommon, it might take slightly longer than you first thought.
But that's okay,
it should.
Nothing so big should come to you quickly because “if it were easy, everyone would do it and, as a result, wouldn’t be worth doing”.
So take the time to pause,
step back and give yourself some credit for how hard you’ve been working.
Realise it might take longer than you first thought.
Keep Crushing!
