The Chapter Nobody Talks About
Why every success story includes this painful truth...
People in your life will come and go.
Some will be there for a season, and others might be with you for life.
But the thing is, you need to remember where you’re destined to go…
Not everyone is aiming to get there, too.
And that’s okay.
But
That means there will be a lonely chapter coming your way.
This will be very difficult because you will feel like you have no one to support you, root for you, or fall back on.
With every struggle, there is an equal and opposite reward.
Once you realize that the lonely chapter is inevitable, it could be the change you need to lift you to the next level and lead you to the unexpected success you’ve been waiting for…
So knowing there is a lonely chapter is excellent but what is “the lonely chapter”?
The lonely chapter occurs when you’re so focused on achieving your goals that you won’t have time or see the benefit of going out with your friends.
You might even love going out with your friends, but if you’re going to pursue this thing, you need that time to focus.
That’s the lonely chapter: where you don’t fit in with your old friends, but you haven’t achieved the success or status to fit in with your new friends.
This is the lonely chapter. It’s harsh but true, and everyone who has gone on to become successful in any area has experienced it.
The sacrifice, the stress, the fear of missing out.
But today, it hit me…
This is the perfect analogy for this situation.
Friends are like boosters to a rocket.
When the rocket reaches a certain altitude, the boosters fall off, meaning they have done their job, propelling the rocket to even higher and better things.
You Are The Rocket
Your friends might not be around forever, but if they stay around, that's perfect. It means one of two things: you’re either staying where they are or they are coming up with you.
But for those that might be feeling this now… It’s okay.
I’m not saying to push anyone away.
Because friendship is one of the most beautiful gifts we have.
But if you feel it happening, it may be a sign that the booster is falling off, allowing you to keep focused and double down on achieving.
Another lesson this includes is these friendships may not last forever…
So now, while do you still have them, cherish them, be grateful, and enjoy every second.
Because we all won’t know what we have until it’s gone.
So, it’s okay if you start talking to your friends less. They might be your rocket boosters, helping you break through the atmosphere and shoot for the stars.
But while the rockets are still attached I want you to, appreciate it, be grateful, and enjoy every second.
This mindset shift will help you become more comfortable with change and allow you to shoot for the stars.
Keep Crushing!
