The Key to a True Reason “WHY”
(Do it for your Family)
You can endure much more pain, struggle, and hardship when it’s for someone else.
We're jumping straight into a story about a study and how you can use this understanding in your ascent to greatness.
They got 2 people hooked up to an electric shock machine, and when they were getting shocked by themselves, they would only stand it for so long…
But when they were told that each shock they took saved the other person from getting the shock, they could stand it for much longer.
Meaning they endured more pain for others than they did for themselves.
Why?
1- Our bodies are programmed to save as much energy as possible and not use it if we are not in a life-or-death situation.
(Back in the Stone Age, they needed to save energy to hide, fight, hunt, etc.)
That means if we're not dying, we are fine, which is a bad way to subconsciously think when you’re chasing you’re dreams, because it makes you fall in love with being comfortable.
2- Humans are wired to serve, help, and care for others.
So we can use this knowledge and understanding to our advantage.
We can position our goals not to help ourselves, but to save our families and friends.
It’ll give you a valid primal reason to endure anything to reach your goals.
So if you’re struggling to find “why” you’re doing all of this.
In those times of doubt, procrastination, and struggle.
Just remind yourself how achieving this goal will completely change the trajectory of your family.
Get them out of financial stress, living paycheck to paycheck.
If you just put your head down now and get the work done, you can travel around the world, creating experiences of a lifetime.
And anything you could ever dream of is on the other side of some weeks, months, and years of hard work..
You have the power to completely change your loved ones’ entire lives forever.
If that’s not a big enough “why,” I don’t know what is.
Don’t do it for yourself now; do it for your future self and your family.
They will be thankful, do it for them.
Until Next Time!
