The Marathon Mindset
Why the hardest path is actually the shortest...
Most people spend years looking for shortcuts to success.
Meanwhile, the top 1% are taking the longest route possible.
Here's what they understand that everyone misses...
Most people are constantly looking for the shortcut, the next get-rich-quick scheme, or the fastest way to achieve their fitness goals.
Today, we will help you transform your expectations by realizing what the real shortcut is…
Everyone trying to succeed has been given this false narrative on social media.
They expect to achieve these crazy life-altering things in a year, 6 months, or even 3 months.
But social media has lied…
Because you’ve just found these people online, achieving these life-changing things, you unconsciously think their success was quick.
But achieving these amazing goals takes a lot longer, with more hours spent and much more discomfort and doubt…
That’s reality.
So many people on social media are “getting rich quick” or “achieving their dream physique in 60 days”.
I know, we’ve all heard it before…
But the truth is,
It would’ve taken them at least 2-10 years, full of hours no one ever saw, to become the person who achieved those things “so quickly” for everyone to see.
It’s like this analogy,
Success is like running a marathon.
To the people watching the marathon, they think it’s easy.
Because watching from the outside, you only see the first 20 seconds, then the last 20 seconds.
It’s the same with success; people looking in think it’s so easy because they never saw how many hours, failures, and mistakes it took to get to the end of the marathon.
You will only know when you are that person, running the marathon alone in the forest at mile 15, hoping you’ll be able to take just one more step. The only way you’re going to make it out is by taking action, following the path, and not looking for shortcuts.
You may doubt that you’ll make it to the end, and you might start to walk. But as long as you’re focused on the path, knowing what you need to do to get there, eventually, you are guaranteed to make it.
So, the real shortcut to any achievement is not what you want to hear, but it’s true.
The real shortcut to success is the long way because it’s the only way that will actually get you there. Follow the path and take action every step of the way.
You will win, and your dreams will become a reality.
In truth,
Those “shortcuts” never get you anywhere because you can’t take shortcuts while running a full marathon.
Because if that shortcut was the right way, everyone else who has achieved what you want to do would’ve done it too…
So, if you really want a taste of success…
Do the work.
Go a long way. Don’t look for shortcuts because you are already in the shortcut. This is the only way you’ll get there, so ensure you stay there.
For the rest of your life…
Yeah, this one was intense, but it felt necessary because I want you to realize that it could be a lot harder than you think.
If you go into it expecting it to be hard, you’ll be able to handle a lot more than if you thought it would be easy.
I hope this has unlocked new expectations of what it really takes to be great.
So starting this week, I don’t want you to give up!
You are way stronger than you think, and now that you have the right expectations, you can go out and achieve everything you deserve.
Just remember, shortcuts are dead ends, and you only lose when you stop.
Keep crushing , you got this!!!
